Integrating technology into the classrooms is the core idea of this course. Nowadays technology becomes a need in the education field, since it touches almost every part of our lives, society, and even homes. Appropriate uses of technology will help students acquire the skills they need to survive in this world, the online world. In order to make this integration more effective and appropriate our teachers should be trained well to be able to use technology programs within the classrooms, moreover effective teaching integration must happen across the curriculum in ways to deepen and enhance the learning process.
Through this course, I learned many things about the uses of technology within the classrooms and how to be integrated in a proper and efficient way.
The first thing I have learned in this course was making a business card, which was really interested for me to learn such thing. Now I have my own business card!
The second thing was creating a poster; it is really beneficial and effective to present our studies and thoughts in an organized way, where we are able to show it in different places and events such as education day where I will present my poster there.
The third thing or program was the web quest. It is very useful for both teachers and learners, where I discussed with my partner the meiosis lesson on the internet, it was really beneficial. In that way our students will use internet safely and in an efficient way to maximize their learning.
The forth thing was creating a blog, which was really the best thing I have learned and I really enjoyed it to the maximum. It was my first experience, and I really love sharing my thoughts and ideas about education.
The last thing I will learn in this course was the VCT (virtual learning tour), it is the largest project in our course, and it really needs time. Through working on it we should take into considerations different levels of thinking, multiple intelligence, emotional intelligence and many other things.
