Teacher's Responsibilities

Teachers have many responsibilities. Behaving in a way that embodies the ideal teacher-learner relationship creates a culture of mutual respect, minimizes the likelihood of student mistreatment, and optimizes the educational outcomes. The responsibilities of the teacher are many such as, giving learners timely, constructive, and accurate feedback, submit grades and evaluations within 4 weeks of the end of a course, be prepared and on time for all activities, provide learners with current material and information and appropriate educational activities, treat learners fairly and respectfully, stimulate students' critical thinking, ask them skillful questions, keep classroom assessment results confidential and protects students right of privacy, and use assessment procedures as a learning tool and as a punishment tool.

  1. Teachers have lots of responsibilities that they must keep in mind and act upon them in order to have a highly interactive and supportive classroom. Its very important that the teacher comes prepared to class because it shows students how much she cares about them and how much responsible she is. Also providing appropriate feedback allows students to cooperate more and work in an interactive way, and how often she presents authentic and interesting materials shows how much she is responsible in representing the lesson in a meaningful way.

  3. there are other responsibilities of course which teachers should be held accountable for, these responsibilities revolve around extra classroom activities, and include: having a wide repertoire of knowledge bases in different domains related to classroom, developing such repertoire through any mean possible, and also coordinating with other teachers to plan for teaching activities
